    .DefaultValue from VB not sotred when form closed

    I am trying to set the default value for a Textbox through VB code.  However, unlike when setting it in the properties box, the value that I assign to the default value is not "stored" after the program is closed.  I need to be able to periodically change the default value if certain events occur without having to go into design view.

    My code looks like this:

    Forms!Chassis1!Ch1ProdCtfrm!Text63.DefaultValue = Text167

    Any help would be greatly appreciated
